I like the colour scheme, however if your top banner 'the basics' is going to be a photo rather than a web safe font, I would choose a font that says 'the basics', big, bold and striking.
It would stand away from your colour better too. Sans serifs or display fonts are ones I would use.
This is only my opinion and is not necessarily right but is what I would say if I was in your feedback group.
Thank's Dean, I'll check it out and see how it looks. I do understand what you are saying though, I'll keep it in mind.
